Although I don't have kids, I work in a field where we see the good, bad, and ugly side of social media and technology, so this hit home. (PARENTS....if you can inspire minds, spark imagination, keep your kids from going over the toxic precipice that is online insanity.....DO THAT).

Read together as a family, buy books and have quiet device-free time. Wander your independent bookstore and let a love of reading and a mind full of wonder take center stage in your children's minds......because the monster of social media is just around the corner and once people make that their world, they wind up MISSING the world.
