We made it - we got through this week of voting and non-stop election coverage - and social media posts that didn't always bring out the best in everyone. I specifically did not make posts of any kind this week about politics or voting or anything, because I know you saw plenty of that elsewhere.
However, I do want to say something (and if you hijack this post and MAKE it political I will bop you off the page), and that is seeing many people in various stages of emotions. I applaud those who stayed above the drama and who have continued to advocate for peace and respect of our fellow humans, because that is the very least we can do. To not get sucked into the comments and hate and name calling was my goal with all of my pages and personal FB, and to all who felt the same, thank you. Thank you for realizing we can't fix things by arguing on Facebook, for avoiding rudeness and choosing kindness and empathy instead. It matters!
I wish you a good weekend ahead, and an absolutely fantastic November to come. Thank you for your support of courtesy, kindness, and the love of independent businesses we all share.
