Yes, that may mean going to four independent stores to purchase what we need, rather than a single warehouse/chain entity, or one online order which arrives in eight different shipments/boxes, but my local stores are right around here, on the way to places I go each week. And they are here because we KEEP spending there, keep supporting them, keep their lights on and doors open.
